Is Jaguar contemplating a return to fire-breathing and gas smelling race cars? This is just a rumor, mind you, but it’s being reported by none other than Road & Track magazine. They, in turn, have their information from Autosport, who are reporting that Jaguar is developing a GT racer in-house for the first time in 50 years.
Whether or not it will be based on the F-Type is just pure speculation at this point. Meanwhile, Jaguar is declining to comment.
