So we drove down to our South Coast for the weekend. Arriving at one my favourite stretches of road - the Kiama Bends - I put the boot into the XJ6. Motoring swiftly around all the soft roaders and 4X4 utes, all the while explaining to my wife why our car was the best handling large car of it’s era and that it’s never handled better after fitting new shocks and suspension bushes all around. I looked over suggesting that “might not be enjoying this section”, white knuckled and gritted teeth. So I slowed down. Next time I’ll fly solo. Paul.

Before giving a gal a ride on my bike I always checked her fingernail length. Long nails were very effective speed governors.
