Kim Novak in a green Mk7

We have touched on this subject before.
Suede green interior, but the body…?

I bet that Hitchcock, being British, decided to use a Jaguar😎

Fabulous, like all the movie girls of that era.

Probably a custom colour for the film (Vertigo 1958).
It’s a Mk8 with larger grille surround

Her body? Great figure I believe.

If that’s from Hitchcock’s Vertigo wasn’t it a Mark IX in Sherwood Green?

Cheers!

Ps. The extra brightness is all those movie lights, you know.

Filmed in the San Francisco Bay area so might have been a car loan from Kjell Qvale’s British Motor Car Distributors Van Ness Avenue dealer?

Plus chrome side trim & one piece windscreen make it Mk VIII or IX

Is it a RHD or LHD car? It’s bit hard to see past Kim to the placement of the steering wheel!

If that by is the same car as used in the movie it’s a lhd based on the parked wipers position.

Incorrectly listed as Sherwood green in tha saloon database, but with Suede green interior, where the other green cars have Tan or Red interiors. Or simply scrapped or not listed, or repainted.
No Mk IX badge at the rear, so definetely a Mk8.
