Late 420G radiator, part number C26700, fits late 420G from early 1969 onward and is distinguished by the lack of the header tank 1-1/4" hose connection at the top left hand side.
Instead it is compatible with the later Header tanks which are connected by a thinner hose to the heater pipes.
This was purchased a few years ago, rebuilt with the correct copper core by Auto Radiators of Rishton Lancs. They did a fantastic job.
Unfortunately it didn’t work for me as I was actually seeking, at the time, a late Mk10 early 420G radiator, so this has sat on an, indoor, shelf since.
It is available for local pickup only from CMC in Bridgnorth Shropshire.
