Steve that sounds fine. With my hoist, I reach a little farther forward to the lower control arm brackets on the frames. But I’ve seen pictures of cars using the front edge of the floor quite often.
I’m 60 now and I love my hoist. I get a lot more done on cars now that I’m not crawling around underneath them.
