When I removed my door cards during the resto I noticed that there was a 2" strip of “extra” padding along the bottom…a cotton like strip…I. had the installer replicate it…he said " no one does this"…others have said this padding does not exist…its really not noticeable and doesn’t seem to serve any function…any ideas on this??
