Hello Lumpers,
I have just posted some pictures of my (read: wife’s) '86 XJS Lump project. All
of the
body work was done by my wife, she has the knack for that. Me, I’m more of a
wrench
turner, I did most of the grunt work. We installed dual 12" fans from PermaCool
with their
variable temperature controller. The engine has not been run long enough for the
thermostat
to open yet, so I can’t comment on the performance of the fans yet. One thing I
CAN
comment on is the Leatherique. We got the entire kit including cleaner, prep
solution,
crack filler, and dye. Using their process and products, my wife restored all
the leather
pieces in the interior. They came out GREAT! Take a look: http://www.jag-lovers.org/v.htm?1019487357

Did you hear that? I think that was the sound of half the list realizing
they married the wrong woman…;>

Hi Chris,
Nice looking motor. The XJS is a good choice too. If I may play
Devil’s Advocate for a second, that air cleaner looks a might high to me. Or
have you come up with any interesting solutions?
