[Lumps!] where to find a donor

Tipical newbe question (I guess): where to find a
donor jaguar ready for a Chevy transplant?

I guess I could get a jag in good running order
and then resell the original engine, but it sounds
troublesome. I’d rather go for a car with a blown
engine, or no engine at all!

Any suggestions?

Cosmetics and interior.

Those are your priorities. The cosmetic and interior bits and pieces and
painting and whatnot are the most expensive and time consuming repairs
on any Jaguar. Your ideal candidate would be a well maintained, high
mileage car that smokes or an “around town” car that might only need
bushings, ball-joints and other relatively simple repairs.

Compared to cosmetics, drivetrain is cheap and easy.
