Hey everyone, just had a quick question. Did all the Mark VII nose cap ornaments always come with the little jaguar face? Slightly a dumb question due to pictures I’m going to post. I just haven’t seen any photos with ornaments like this.

I am an owner of a 54 MK 7 since 1967 and have a collection of Mascots amassed over my 57 years of ownership. I have short and long tail versions and a bronze one removed from chassis no. 104, but have never seen anything like you have.

I’m pretty new to the MK VII world but even I can tell that it isn’t normal.
One of the previous owners did some modifications to that trim piece so it can the Leaper on the hood; which is why its broken. I still have the other piece and I plan on getting it repaired so I can also use the leaper.
