Missing XK140 Bonnet Part

Hi i am looking for XK140 BD8954 socket assembly for bonnet prop when not in use. Any advice? Thanks

They have one for XK120 so I imagine they would for 140.

I repaired mine using a split hose and it looks original and works well. I have seen folks make up a centre post to fit in when the bonnet is raised due to the side prop leading to bending of the bonnet if left up. (XK140MC DHC).

a simple bit and correct part available from SNG Barratt held on to bracket with two solid rivets same bit is used on 140FHC and all XK150’s
