Does anyone know please the type and specification of the light bulbs used in the MK V rear light units that are either side of the number plate? There appear to be 2 smaller bulbs top and bottom in each light unit to illuminate the number plate itself, and 1 slightly larger bulb located centrally in each light unit for (I think) the reverse light. There are no bulbs at all in the units I have, so I’m struggling to purchase and fit the correct ones. Thanks.

The center bulb is #1156 for reverse, and the smaller bulbs are #57 for license plate.
Am I correct to presume these are Lucas part numbers? Do you know the Wattage and physical size/type of these bulbs just in case I need to find equivalant spares. Thanks.
No, those are standard bulb numbers, available in any auto parts store; Sylvania and GE are common brands, and you can get LEDs as well.
