The previous owner of my car hacked off the back of glovebox to make room for A/C ductwork. I’d like to restore it to original, but want to make sure I can route the ductwork around it.
Can anyone provide depth measurements (top and bottom from front edge of the cardboard to back of the box) from an original glovebox?

Mine is about 6inches at the bottom and about 5 at the top , I say about as not 100% sure how thick the board is , think I have one in the shed , if you want a 100% accrete measurement , I measured the one in the car from the door of the glove box , the back is around 9 1/2 inches side to side , the door side looking straight and the side next to the instrument panel tapers in .

This is helpful. When you say the measurements are from the door, do you mean from outside the surface of the dash to the back of the glovebox?
New gloveboxes are available from SNG Barratt and others.
