Anybody know what this is and what it should be connected to please? Its at the back of the engine just before the bulkhead on a 59 Mk9:
I believe that is the vacuum connection for your wiper fluid switch.

It needs blanking off Brett, otherwise it will suck in air and dilute the mixture to the rest carburettor.
If you start the engine and put your finger over it you should feel the vacuum unless it’s bunged up, which they often are.
Most cars are converted to electric washers these days which makes this item redundant.
