To All,
I had my mechanic check the EGR valve in order to clear a “Fuel/Fail #37”
VCM warning and to extinguish the “Check Engine” light that I was receiving.
The mechanic said that the EGR valve was fine and not at all occluded, so I
cleared the “Check Engine” light by pulling the instrument panel fuse. The
“Check Engine” light was extinguished for about two days before coming back
on again, and I also get the “Fuel/Fail #37” warning.
What should I check next?

Mike,
The 37 code is for the electrical part of the egr system.
You need to clean the connector on the vacuum solinoid that opens
the egr valve.
A plugged port would give a 39 code.
