Just drove a contemporary to the Jag Muncie (drove many at my job and had one we owned - but many, many years ago). Our car had a Hurst with a short handle, but this one yesterday had a stock shifter and was rebuilt. It was like the lever wasn’t connected to anything. With the Moss it seems like you are doing something. The high strung solid lifter mouse motor had so little torque that you had to use 1st much more than needed on the 3.8 also, so needless to say the synchro was nice to have.
