Hello everyone, i have big problem, my f type has no battery inside because it is water damaged, and i need to disassemble the seats, but can’t move them with no power. So the question is somebody can help me and explain how to connect directly to the seat motors connectors for move them with a 12v power supply, to which pin or wire i need connect the battery for move them, thank you all in advance!
Assuming it works like the hydraulic power unit for a marine outdrive trim unit, you have two power wires to the DC reversing motor that runs the seat fore and aft. Apply power to one of them and it goes forward and the other it goes back. I circled them on your schematic. Looks like one is a green wire with a blue stripe and the other is blue wire with a green stripe.
