First adjust the downshift cable that’s next to the accelerator cable on top of the throttle body. Loosen the two 13mm nuts at the bracket and adjust it a little forward at a time (and if that doesn’t work) adjust it backwards until you find a sweet spot on the 1-2 shift. This may take a few days of adjusting - short drive - adjusting - short drive … you get the idea.
A fresh change of transmission fluid and changing the filter inside the pan is always a good idea. To completely get rid of all the old fluid you need to change the fluid about three times with a little drive between each fluid change. This method gets rid of all the old fluid in the torque converter…
