I have play in the outer steering rod. The right one on a KHD car, i.e. the one furthest from the steering column (which takes more motion being further away). I ordered a new one, but it is different to the original one, and cannot be used. It appears that a bronze bushing by the outmost end of the rack is worn. There is a part number for it, but don’t know if its available, or how the old one is removed.
Has anybody got a suggestion?
