Alright folks,
I have a number of little questions that may or may not be interrelated. I have a 94’xjs 4.0, that started having transmission issues (transmission warning and limp mode). I cleaned all of the relays (switched some around) and checked the fuses in the left front component panel, including the transmission warning relay. I removed and replaced the throttle position sensor. This seems to have fixed the transmission issue.
However, since this repair, I (mistaking) let my battery die, of which I have since boosted and charged. Now I have no lights in my instrument cluster, and my Sport mode no longer illuminates or works. I have been unable to find the fuse that deals in cluster lights, and the sport mode function seems to have no fuse at all. I’m not sure if these are related to the earlier repair. If anyone knows of a fix for these issues, please let me know.
