Etch primer , high build primer , top coat . Not happy with prep so rub most of the top coat off .
Three coats of top coat . A week later rub it back with 800 . Four coats of top coat . All done outside as I just can’t get enough light in the garage so had to wait for a good weather forecast , no rain , no wind . The odd bug to deal with but think it will cut back good .

I may have missed: how are the mechanicals… engine/gearbox/diff?
Me? Oh. All the bits’nstuff is done except for assembly of the engine, still waiting for a new set of rings. Everything else is done and in boxes. Deck lid’s done, hood won’t take long but the doors are a mess. The body is remarkably good and straight.
I’m down to body and paint prep. If I can paint color in October it’ll roll out in March/April. Given the slowdown in business, October isn’t out of reach.
