Normally, did the factory install the side pinstripes, or was it a dealer installation, on my 1995 XJS convertible? Thanks JC

According to the Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) Concours Rule Book (page VI-11), the only facelift XJS cars to receive factory pin stripes were the 1995 XJR cars and the cars from VIN#188105 to VIN# 194774. Other than that, none of the facelift (1992-1996) XJS cars had pin stripes applied at the factory and if they do have them the dealership or Prior Owner applied them.

Thanks so much for your response. I just had car repainted due to a senior citizen hitting the passenger door. Beautiful car w/out stripes. JC
