I must say this is getting old and my almost three decade old buddy is really trying my patience.
After rebuilding my leaking power steering pump I now have a slight leak at the top of the tower on the rack. Not the usual place for a leak as far as I know. It’s not around the spindle shaft where I would expect but at the plate which is held on with three 10mm bolts.
Looks like this could be repaired without removing the rack … but ?? Any one rebuilt a rack lately ?
