At the moment my MK2 has the manual steering box , 3 3/4 turns lock to lock , it’s a little on the heavy side at low speed , but on the open country roads it’s great ,
I see this lot up for sale at a very very good price , so brought it to store away for the future .
Only thing missing is the pipes !
Plan is when driving at low speed is too much like hard work , I will drop the front subframe down , cut out and fabricate a new part for the power steering box to bolt on , and bolt all the other parts straight on ,
I am only 61 in a few days , but you never know , would hate to see my car sitting there and me unable to drive it for lack of strength !
