Previous Owner of 1955 xk140ots

Hi All

I have been re-visiting my paperwork from 1992 - the time I bought the XK140ots that I am starting to restore with a massive parts gathering exercise.

I know nothing about the history before that date other than the name
Danny Kelsey II as a previous owner so I just thought that given the strong USA participation on this forum someone might have heard the surname before in Jaguar circles. I believe the car lived in Nevada for a long time.
Bit of a long shot I am sure… but who knows

Hi there - Thanks for this clue.

I guess for a 1955 car the the Danny Kelsey ll (the second) I am looking for would not have been the first owner. He was probably driving/ owning it at any time say from 1965 to 1978 when it was past its flush of youth.
He would therefore be about 75 to 85 years old now.
One thought - he may have had a son who took up the name Danny Kelsey lll - ( eg King Charles III) who may be in 50s - 60s now.
It was returned into UK arriving in Customs here in June 1989 and it had probably been off the road for a decade before that.

I will see what can be found on the website you suggest.
