Is it necessary to remove the the inner fender mud guards to do the alignment…ESPECIALLY the LH side?

If you want to change camber yes - you need to loosen the bolts holding it to the upright, and remove 1. I suppose if you have a 6 year old with small hands who is also strong maybe not.
I am thinking about taking it to some one to align eventually and, if it’s necessary to remove them, I would take off the guards before I bring it.
It that’s the case, I wont put the LH one on now because it involves removing the battery and battery support. Although I would SO like to put this job in the rear view mirror. (g)
