Quotes behaving badly?

Noticing of late that if I select text from a post and insert it into a new post, even though it might display OK in right pane (preview) - it sometimes doesn’t appear in the posting or it will appear without highlight, just codes …another little thing - occasionally the edit icon will appear even if I don’t edit the post …(I edited this post BTW) :slightly_smiling_face:

Is it just me?

If you quote the whole post the system will delete the quote. If you only quote part of it, then it stays. (Makes sense - there’s no point in quoting a complete post, you can see what it was in response to by clicking on the avatar in the top right corner of each post.)
