The sealing kit for my '72 power steering pump (V12) comes with new olives for the pipes at the tower end.
Can the existing olives be reused or do I need to replace them since they are single use only?

If you are reusing your old lines it’s likely the old olives will work, assuming you can orient the lines as they were. I like to slightly tighten and then rotate the line to find the spot, then fully tighten. With new lines they may or may not seal. How do the sealing surfaces look on the olives?
