Hi,
I noticed that my mount appears to be missing a split pin or some such. Pls see atttached photo. Strangely my manual does not show a pin.
The hole is there to facilitate initial fitting of the mount, it holds the spring under tension until the bolts holding the mount are secured.

Robin, the large split pin was only used for shipping the cars. It prevented the drivetrain from damages during overseas transport by stabilizing the drivetrain.
Once stateside, it was removed by the dealers.

No problem but when the gearbox support is removed and replaced its good to have the hole there.
