Heads have corrosion. Edit to this post. I’ve been reading alot about the use of JB weld to fill the pitting from corrosion for the gasket mating surfaces. Any thoughts or experience with this? I’ll clean up the rest of the head and make sure there’s no corrosion on the combustion surface for now. (Another edit, spoke to a machinist a coworker told me about. He took a look and was extra reassuring. Also read on another amateur rebuild thread and got a lot of info to the same questions I was asking
. Feelin motivated again, all but 3 liners came out with a fabbed tool. Going to finish cleaning and start slowly throwing it back together!
