Of course, Frank! I swapped the relay and everything works fine - so there’s got to be power on the blue wire.
Somewhere between the 56 pin in and the 56a and 56b pins out the power gets lost. That’s why I wanted to remove the case once more, make up a test rig with 12V at 56 to check what’s (not) going on.
Still, this has got time as the spare works fine in the car.
