Buy an old Land Rover. My ‘67 is full of Bees Whitworth fasteners.

The bolts I need in that size range would be twenty-four 5/16" x 7/8" (or 1"). I’m restoring a 64 3.8 OTS.

I know this is probably heresy, but I can’t help thinking that if the bolts holding the car together aren’t genuine ones, why go to so much trouble to make them appear so? Cars have continuous history, and changing fasteners is part of that…

Just a personal opinion, each to his own.
