Ringing out the Flasher Circuit

Eric,

The repeater lights (flasher W/L on the schematic?) ground through the flasher switch. I.E. BW/LGY through switch to ground and BR/LGU through switch to ground. That is their only ground, I guess because they are mounted in plastic?This then allows them to be controlled by controlling their respective ground. Just speculating here though.

Hazard Warning Circuit

Well… just for the “fun of it” and because it’s so simple on this new platform I have been preparing a status report. Since I had a replacement on the way, the first order of business was to dissect the old hazard flasher unit: [image] It’s hard to tell but the third image shows a vertical “bar” that I think moves with the metallic strip and makes contact with the button looking thing at the bottom. That action sends power out through terminal “P” to the hazard pilot lamp in the dash. This is…
