Hi all, My X300 LWB Daimler suffers from rust in the top part of the door window frames of both rear doors. The local body shop says it’s not repairable and suggests to replace both doors. That’s a costly operation and I would like to hear if someone in the forum has faced a similar challenge and solved it without replacing the doors.

I had the exact same issue with 2 LWB X308s. I learned that the doors are NOT the same as the XJ40 doors, for which you could obtain the top frame 
You’re going to have to replace the doors, I’m afraid.
