Does anybody have any ideas why my car will not start in p or n but
after the umpteenth time of moving the gear selector up and down it
will then start Help please–

Hi David, many thanks for that, I just went to tell my mechanic and
he said that he had found the problem and it was with a relay in
the fuse box in the passenger footwell and now he has replaced it
the car was starting first time every time.
Also as a note he said that the neutral saftey switch can,t be
bought with out the selector box which costs $400 !!! is that
correct or can you buy the switch on its own.
Any way many thanks for your help. This was my first time on any
forum.
