I’ve just got a brand new remote for my 2K S Type, can anyone tell
me how to program it to my car? Someone did say that it told you
how to do this in the manual, but I can’t find it in my booklet…
Any help grateful.–

I believe your dealer has to program your new remote. There is
instruction in my manual (2000 S-type) about linking a remote to
one of the memory settings, which is quite easy and handy - I am 25
cm taller than my wife, who is the main driver.–

Greg,
Unfortunately a Jaguar PDU (scanner tool) is required to
accomplish programming of the additional remote. Jaguar
dealers generally are the only entities that possess a PDU.
Be sure and take all your keys and remotes in when you go
to have the additional remote programmed. Good luck!–
