Is the fuel cap on my 1966 S1 original equipment?
If so…any ideas where to get a new seal in UK?
It doesn’t look like any original I’ve seen. What is stamped in the center of the cap? Looks like lettering.
You might take the cap by a spares shop and see if they have a cap with a gasket you can swap out.

Though I have made one from sheet rubber that seems to be holding up okay.
that’s what mine looks like. I know it’s been on the car for at least 20 yrs
