Sorry to ask again so soon but no responses yet to my post a couple
days ago. In order to move forward with our MK2 I need this
information. We are changing over from automatic to a manual gearbox.
Can someone, who has their original gearbox out of their MK2, please
measure the distance from the front of the bell housing back the the
centerline of the shifter in neutral and let me know the dimension?
