In my haste to completely rustproof the body of the Mk 2, I sprayed
Dinitrol (a wax based rustproofing) into the channels in the posts for
the roof. The penetrant did what penetrants are supposed to
do-penetrate, and unfortunately caused some stains in the
almost-fine-and-not-to-be-replaced-soon headliner.Anyone have any ideas
on how to remove wax/mineral spirit based rustproofing from the
headliner without removing it and taking it to the dry cleaners?. Many

Where are you located? You can buy the dry cleaning fluid in ACE hardwares
around Chicago. It is called Carbo Sol, about $7.00 a quart. Try a good
paint store, also.
