Should the later Series 1 cars with the emergency flasher unit mounted under the dash to the left of the steering column have the under dash millboard mounted in that area. It is “missing” on my June built coupe and before fitting a replacement I would like to know that the factory actually installed a piece in that location. If it should be there, how did the factory deal with the flasher unit mounting screws and wiring when installing the piece?
