Hi Jezzabel,
I seem to remember that the upper and lower flaps in the blower units are connected by mechanical linkages and when the lower flaps are opened the upper flaps are closed. If you can hold the lower flaps open the upper flaps will be closed allowing the blower units to be removed more easily.
Ahhhhh, of course. Did not think of this. They are connected via mechanical linages……
