Must mean getting nearer to putting bits back on the car and the end of winters maintenance…

Chrome looks great but mirror is not like the one used on any XK120

Not too worried about originality on the cars as can end up as a grandfathers axe problem. More that the car is reasonably reliable (for the period), and looks about right.

And then enjoy burning fossil fuels and enjoying myself :slight_smile:

Nice. Was the grill chromed assembled or assembled after chroming?

Assembled with the studs and check for alignment there, and then the slats added. And finally plated. This means the “sides” of the slats are not polished though I could if I wanted get the multi tool and and do that. But life’s too short - may save that for next winter…
