SIII Chin Scoop Trim

On my third need for the SIII chin scoop trim and the usuals want more to ship the part than the part! Several old threads mention getting door trim from the local parts stores. I went and looked today and the material looks the same as what I have bought before.

Only question is what size to buy as the trim comes in several sizes from 1/8" thru 1/2" in cross section length. From memory, the section is about 3/8" but I can’t remember. Does anyone have their trim off or can they measure it on the chin and tell me how long the cross section length is? Want to get as close as I can.

Hi Doug,
The stuff I used was 5/16" ‘wide’ measuring across it as it’s on the car. I used a heat gun to help it make the bend around the corners.
