I will profit that the gearbox is coming out to replace all silent blocks (engine and gearbox.
Limora lists a myriad of different options, incl. the reinforced metallastics.
Am I right to think that I need 2 of these:
but how many of these (engine only 2, engine and gearbox 4?
Their catalogue claims that their standard item here below, is for both engine and gearbox and I am now confused. Sorry for the basic questions…

As usual Limora is overpriced, wonder why they use there own numbers.
Take a look at SNGBarratt for engine mounts.
They use the original Jaguar part numbers, more easy to find
What is there now? Early XK120 uses the rectangular ones in front. Later XK120 uses the round ones in front.
There is also a round one on the side opposite the pedals.
At the rear, early 120 uses a rectangular one, not the same as the fronts.
Later 120 uses two round ones, again not the same as the fronts.
