Speedometer not working

I have a 1986 Daimler Doubke six.
The motor at the back of the speedo that drives the odometer is not working. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement, I have not been able to locate one in Australia.
My speedo is in km per hour

No, I’m far away.

But, I read of a USA dilemma that just might transcend. Older Toyota’s odometers can register up to 299,999. miles, but not beyond! Some have done just that. Why is that of consequence?
Cuz, the politico’s decided that insurance premiums be guided by miles driven!!!

To the point, at one time, and still to a limited extent, speedometer repair and conversion shops existed.

Side bar:

Each of my cars, he 83 Jaguar and the 94 Jeep read speed in
miles and KM’s. But, the odometer, only in miles.

My Jaguar is a lump. It’s speedo not corrected. I have the means to do so, but it is way down on the “task list”. I just give the “nutty numbers” to my insurer to do with as they see fit. So long as the premium $ isn’'t off base, I care not…

There are several Jag wreckers in Oz, and the part you need should be the same as an XJ12,
so I would be very surprised if JagDaim in Melbourne cannot source one for you?

An Instrument Rebuilder may be able to repair it for similar cost.
