I know that I have read or heard about differences between what Jaguar stipulated in the 50s when all the XKs were shod with cross-plies, and what modern expertize says regarding the use of radial tyres. But I can’t find it.
It was mainly on caster and camber if I remember correctly.
Radials do better with zero to negative camber, and caster is about the same.
