Does anybody know what size the bolts are that holds the steering wheel airbag on cant seem to find a socket to fit
A bit of research in the parts catalogue reveals that there are two nuts which hold the airbag on (under the black covers) and they are listed as NT108041J which translates to an M8 locking nut. If that is so the hexagon size, if ‘standard’ should be 13 mm across flats so a 13 millimeter socket should fit.
Are those the “bolts” you mean?

When messing with the airbags it’s better to do the job correctly to avoid a nasty bang!
These images are from a Jaguar World Monthly magazine from 2004. They cover the removal of the CCU but buried in there are instructions for disarming and removing the air bag (and it does require a 13 mm socket!)
