I have the engine out of my 1971 Series 3 E-type.
What should be painted now (and what color)? I’m curious specifically about the BW auto transmission, the torque converter housing, the exhaust downpipes, the oil filter housing and the oil pressure relief valve.
I’ve tried reading through the judge’s guide and can’t find answers to my questions and I apologize if the information is there but I missed it.
It looks as though the transmission was painted black but I can’t tell if the torque converter housing was painted or not.
The oil pressure relief valve looks as though there may have been red paint.
The oil filter housing is currently some sort of brownish color.
