Timing trouble?

The subject of distributor timing has come up a few times.
Read through this one.

From the Service Manual pgs B28 & B32. [image] [image] Turn the crank so the front cylinder #6 is at TDC between the compression and power strokes with both valves closed, ready to fire (assuming the head is on here). It can be done with the head off, but then you have to align the cams according to the distributor position. Distributor drive slot, offset and parallel to the crank.
