Hi folk, anyone actually changed the transmission filter on X type ? 2002 AWD? Anyone willing to share a photo of its location?
Common knowledge on how to change fluid. That is not the question.
We already know these are no sealed for life units
So any insight into how to change the filter or links would provide insight and be really helpfull
The JATCO JF506E has an INTERNAL fine mesh screen.
You need to remove the transaxle assy and dismantle to access the screen.
Never heard of anyone that ambitious just to check/replace the screen.
