Hi.
Could someone tell me please the quantity of XK120 FHC’s produced for the HOME UK market. (not exported)

According to Anders Clausager (JDHT) there were 195 RHD XK120 FHC made, of which two 1951 built prototypes were kept by factory, nothing built in 1952, 59 standard and 22 SE cars for the ‘Home Market’ built in 1953, and 45 standard and 24 SE cars for the ‘Home Market’ built in 1954.

So a total of 152 Home Market XK120 FHC and a total of 43 Export RHD sales, so the 195 RHD total.

Of the 43 Export RHD, Australia got 14, New Zealand 4, Rhodesia 5, Hong Kong 2, Malaya 2, Gold Coast 2, Personal Export Delivery to Henlys London 2, Singapore 2, Sweden 2, and the rest one-offs to Belgium, France, India, Kenya, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad, so presumably a few British Embassy/ Military base staff cars.
